With a last minute addition to the team we had 5 riders in this year’s Colorado Tour De Cure. The Tour De Cure is a ride to benefit the American Diabetes Association. If you are a riding and you have Diabetes you are a ‘Red Rider’. Wherever you go during the event you hear ‘Go Red Rider’. Debby and I both are Red Riders.
Debby, Ed and I all volunteered to work the Red Rider area and started our day there at 5am. The TDC has 4 levels of rides; 100 miles, 100K, 50K and a 20K. Ed and I did the 50K and Debby, Duane, and Kari did the 20K. This is an awesome time, great ride support and it benefits a very worthy cause. Our team with your help, raised over $1000 to benefit the cause. Thanks to everyone who donated and all the riders, volunteers and organizers of this great event. The weather was great and everyone had a great time. As soon as we can we are ready to sign up for 2011.
